Highlight of our Thailand Trip
Here are highlights from the Herald Brass Team
- The blessing of being exposed to the Thai people, a sweet, open, and beautiful people.
- The model of living with a strong deep love for their people exhibited by the dedicated missionaries like the Dannekers.
- It was obvious, as days went by, the many prayers of our partners pushed satan back. Jesus weakened him and he gave ground until he finally gave up toward the end of our trip. Praise God!
- Learning how well the new/young Christians were being discipled. Then watching many of the new disciples stepping up and allowing God to use them in new situations in outreach, sharing their faith with others, and doing the work that needed done no matter what it was. Many took new steps to be used in these new ministry outreaches, serving alongside the Herald Brass, the church leaders, and International Workers.
- The highlight of seeing three churches working together, hand in glove under the guidance of highly skilled missionaries for the goal which we share of Christ’s mission.
- We are blessed to be used by God. He used us to encourage the church and their leaders, make connections at the schools and communities, and to fan the flame that was there but needed God to give it a boost of energy.
- We have great joy in serving our Lord through music, testimonies, and loving on people.
- We are so blessed to have a wonderful prayer team that covered us prior to the trip, while in Thailand, and through our travels back to the USA. Thank you so very much “Prayer Team.”
Here is a highlight video (made by one of the Thai people) that Ed and Sue sent out in their monthly newsletter.
Herald Brass team in Thailand Dec 2024 - YouTube
On our last Sunday at the end of the 2:30 pm service, the church
surrounded us and held our hands and prayed for each of us. I want to
encourage each of you to continue to pray for Ed and Sue and the pastors and wives and our brothers and sisters in Thailand. Please pray they would be bold in sharing their faith with others. Please pray for the harvest to be plentiful, and that all three churches would be beacons of light for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray that the churches would grow in great numbers of people coming to know Christ as their Savior. Merry Christmas and again, THANK YOU for being our “Prayer Team” for this wonderful opportunity to go and share in Thailand.
